• Maritime Facilities

MOCK BRIDGE

It is the main control station ship of the model ship. All navigational equipment, steering control and communication equipments are found here. It serves as a training area of the student for the actual operation of the different maritime equipment. 

ENGINE ROOM

This is actually a simulated engine room of a vessel. Various tools and equipment of various sizes, milling machines, shapers and their accessories and other tools are kept. It serves as a training area of the student for the actual operation of the different engines and machineries and also where the proper use various tools and other engineering aids are demonstrated.

GMDSS SIMULATOR

The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) consist of computer workstations for instructors and students. It is connected by a system together with an Audio Multiplexer Unit (AMU), headsets and printers. All the necessary for training in communications procedures for cadets, midshipmen, and future desk officers. The simulator instruments work for real-time and independently of each other as with real equipment onboard a ship. The purpose of GMDSS is to improve the reception and handling of distress and emergency traffic.
